On September 17, 1920, Tau Kappa Epsilon chartered Xi Chapter at Washington University in St. Louis, establishing the fourteenth chapter of TKE in the Gateway to the West. Since that day TKE has been a fixture at WashU, experiencing the highs and lows of life on campus but never once shutting down. This year, on the 95th anniversary of our founding, we celebrated our chapter with a massive alumni weekend that culminated in a banquet where a representative from Tau Kappa Epsilon Fraternity headquarters presented prytanis Ryan Oshima with a plaque honoring our chapter's achievement. It was definitely the highlight of 2015 and fittingly takes first spot on our countdown! ... See MoreSee Less
One of the biggest events we were involved in last year was ThurtenE Carnival, participating for the first time after a brief absence. Thanks again for every team that participated and congrats to the winners, WashU Chi Omega and Theta Xi! ... See MoreSee Less

Number 8: Foundations for Excellence Scholarship Banquet
Eighth on our list is the culmination of our freshman scholarship - the Foundations for Excellence Scholarship Banquet, planned by our Scholarship Chairman Jonathan Shieh. Another occasion for formal dress, we took to Holmes Lounge to recognize fifteen members of the freshmen class for excellence in academics, leadership, and character.
