This past Sunday (September 15), the Xi Chapter of Tau Kappa Epsilon put on our annual philanthropy event for our charity, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is internationally recognized for its pioneering work in finding cures and saving children with pediatric cancer and other catastrophic diseases.
For this year’s event a six 0n six soccer tournament was held on the South 40. The event, named sTriKErs, was a huge success! The chapter was able to raise $1,000 for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
The Champions of the tournament was fellow Wash U fraternity Beta Theta Pi. Second place went to the Alpha Omicron Pi sorority at Wash U. Third place went to student team, the Soggy Seals.
Congratulations to all the winners! We hope to see you all next year!
