Number 1: Xi 95th Celebration

On September 17, 1920, Tau Kappa Epsilon chartered Xi Chapter at Washington University in St. Louis, establishing the fourteenth chapter of TKE in the Gateway to the West. Since that day TKE has been a fixture at WashU, experiencing the highs and lows of life on campus but never once shutting down. This year, on the 95th anniversary of our founding, we celebrated our chapter with a massive alumni weekend that culminated in a banquet where a representative from Tau Kappa Epsilon Fraternity headquarters presented prytanis Ryan Oshima with a plaque honoring our chapter's achievement. It was definitely the highlight of 2015 and fittingly takes first spot on our countdown!

Number 2: Thurtene Carnival

One of the biggest events we were involved in last year was ThurtenE Carnival, participating for the first time after a brief absence. With a little help from our friends at Pointer's Delivery: Home of the 28" Pointersaurus, we were able to provide authentic and fresh St. Louis pizza on all three days of the Carnival, raising nearly $500 for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in the process!

The third annual Strikers for St. Jude soccer tournament comes in at number three in our countdown. Philanthropy Chairman Jordan Aronson led Xi Chapter's efforts to raise money for TKE's national philanthropy, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, by hosting a soccer tournament on the swamp and inviting all members of the campus community to form teams and compete. Thanks again for every team that participated and congrats to the winners, WashU Chi Omega and Theta Xi!
